The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the recording of payment of goods and services rendered by the organization. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed. The Accounts Receivable Specialist serves as back-up for the Accounts Receivable team members as business needs may require.

Answers customer inquiries
Maintains accounts receivable reports, spread sheets and accounts receivable files
Reviews on hold orders for release
Resolve customer disputes
Collections, Calling and other correspondence to support
Special Projects as needed
Strong written and verbal communication
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least three years previous accounts receivable experience
Excellent computer skills including Excel
Experience with various accounting and general ledger software
Experience in a public company and SOX compliant organization a plus.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, during day shift hours. Some extended hours or weekends may be required based on business needs. Hybrid position, 6 days a month in office in either our Fountain Run, KY location, Pulaski, TN location or Philadelphia, PA.
