Our client has been expanding across several regions over a number of years, posting excellent results in the process and raising strong AUM. They're now seeking to add a new hire to their debt investment team in NYC. The role will focus on:

• Sourcing, analysing and executing investments in debt/credit opportunities
• Investments will include those across the public and private debt markets - corporate credit, real estate debt, asset-backed, specialty finance, non-performing loans, high yield/distressed credit, etc.
• Producing investment ideas alongside senior colleagues and pitching to the investment committee
• Developing and maintaining financial models
• Working alongside leading US and international trading, research and sourcing teams
• Playing a key role in the ongoing growth of the NYC office

This opportunity will suit an ambitious Associate-/Vice President-level from a necessary investment or advisory background, such as:

• Private credit/direct lending
• Special situations/distressed investment
• Capital solutions
• M&A or Leverage finance
• Restructuring or Debt advisory
• Sell-side credit research
