This is a full-time position that is responsible for risks associated with credit and markets, performing risk exposure modeling and analytics and managing the operational and legal risks associated with True companies businesses. Establishes and maintains sound credit management activities, assess credit risk, set counterparty credit limits, monitor credit exposure and provide guidance on credit risks and limits in accordance with policies and procedures. Must have the ability to synthesize data, trends and observations and clearly communicate information both written and orally. This position is responsible for:
Researching and assessing the creditworthiness of business partners, customers, and counterparties, including financial analysis, determine credit ratings & limits, and high-quality written or oral commentary.
Performing risk exposure analysis, analytics, and monitoring, along with solutions to track market risk and credit risk metrics.
Being the risk management expert by demonstrating professional competence and mastery of subject matter.
Strong working knowledge in credit, markets, and counterparty risk management. Develop state-of-the-art tools and dashboards to enhance and improve ongoing risk analysis and monitoring.
Conducting due diligence and assessment of business partners’ and customers’ strengths and weaknesses, financial health, and their competitive position within its industry.
Proactively conducting independent research and analysis utilizing multiple sources, including the Internet.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and counterparties.
Managing and maintaining strong relationships with collection agencies and credit reporting agencies.
Establishing and managing customer credit profiles to establish accurate company exposure evaluations.
Engaging collateral strategies to satisfy credit limit requests that include LOCs, parent guarantees, and bank references.
Insuring compliance with all credit and collection regulatory requirements.
Managing, training and inspiring team to support the company objectives in credit and collections.
Meaningfully engaging with internal company stakeholders and leadership to communicate credit and market risks, collections strategies, objectives and metrics.
Working with sales and legal teams to negotiate and execute contracts, ensuring compliance with approved credit terms.
Partnering with accounting and billing teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collection processes.
Implementing effective debt collection processes and strategies to reduce accounts receivable and minimize delinquent accounts.
Leading credit-related communication with customers, resolving disputes and answering inquiries related to credit terms and collections.
Ensuring consistent and accurate reporting of credit metrics, including Days Sales Outstanding, Bad Debt Reserve, and Credit Loss Ratios.
Identifying opportunities to improve credit and collection processes, including the utilization of technology, process improvement initiatives, and training programs for credit professionals.
Developing and maintaining good working knowledge of the credit functionality within internal operating systems such as Oracle, Right Angle, and E21.Other duties as assigned.
