The Role:

We are looking for a Private Markets Investment Due Diligence Analyst - Private Credit focus to join our team. As a Private Markets Investment Due Diligence Analyst with a focus in Private Credit, you will interact with fund managers, take part in manager selection, investment due diligence and strategy analysis.

Responsibilities:

Fund Investment Due Diligence

• The Fund investment due diligence process includes the initial screening of investment managers; participating in meetings with the managers (both virtual and onsite); quantitative performance analysis and qualitative due diligence.
• Prepare investment due diligence reports and related written research.
• Execute ongoing monitoring of funds in the strategy and clients’ portfolios to ensure recency of existing research and ratings
• To the extent possible help build relationships between Albourne, the client and covered managers to assist with client access to funds

Strategy Analysis

• Produce up-to-date and accurate Forward Calendar for the assigned strategy
• Produce strategy forecasting for assigned strategies within Private Markets
• Produce and maintain asset class/industry research outlining the key attributes, trends and drivers of a given strategy
• Identify and recommend any additional tools or analytics which will enhance the overall accuracy of our research

Team Management (If applicable)

• Management of assigned Private Markets Investment Due Diligence team members, to include allocation of work and task/time management, review reports for team members, mentor and responsible for admin of team members. Ensure team members are productive and meeting their goals.
• Conduct screenings, interviewing, and selection process for any open positions within your Private Markets team.
• Evaluate team members through performance appraisals and regular touch base meetings

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure internal database is maintained with up-to-date information
• Meet deadlines set by management and clients
• Participate in weekly internal group calls
• Communicate with clients as required
• Any other ad hoc projects as assigned

What we’re looking for:
